In 2017 as part of the Granada International Guitar Festival, this International Guitar making competition was started, paying homage to one of the greatest living guitar makers Antonio Marin Montero. In the first year the 1st prize was won by Sergio Valverde, one of our students, and to top it off second prize in the same year was won by another of our own, Oscar Muñoz. A great accolade for the school! Our students have since gone on to hold a very strong presence in the competition. In 2019 Alessandro Perciaccante was a finalist in the competition with 2 other students also in the semi finals.
